Enviroment policy

We observe our basic management policy of “recognition of preservation of the earth environment as the most important task which all people share in common” and promote environment preservation activities through all our business activities.
１． We make fare evaluation of influence to environment that our manufacturing activities of semiconductor products give and continue to protect the environment from contamination and reduce impact on the environment within our technical and financial capability.
２． We observe relevant laws to the environment and other requirements and carry out thorough control of chemicals contained in the products and continue our efforts of preservation and improvement of the environment.
３． We strive to cope with following tasks as important challenges.
１）We strive for energy saving to prevent global warming.(Co2 reduction)
２）We strive for designing, development, and marketing of products and manufacturing processes in favor of environment.
３）We strive for effective use of resources.
４． We establish environment management system, make periodical review of the system and promote awareness・improve ability of all employees so that they understand our environment policy and carry out continuously environment preservation activities.

Health and safety policy

1. We will comply with legal and other requirements for occupational health and safety, and further improve our health and safety. We will strive to manage our operations.
2. We will eliminate hazards in the workplace and minimize occupational health/safety risks.
3. We are deeply aware of the importance of mental health. We provide employees with counseling and support to help them maintain their mental and physical health. We will strive to improve the system and working environment.
4. We will communicate with our employees and those who work on the premises, ensuring that all employees participate in the occupational health and safety activities.
5. We will work on the following items as important issues Reduction of occupational accidents caused by chemical substances Risk assessment activities
6. We will invest appropriate management resources to continuously improve our occupational health and safety management system.

Chemical Substances Contained in Products

Phenitec satisfies the requirements of the following regulations about chemicals contained in our products.
■Phenitec products comply with RoHS regulation. System in place accordance with the ISO14001 and JAMP Guidelines for Chemical Substances Contained in Products.
■Phenitec products do not contain REACH Regulations Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC).High-purity metals as component material in our products, none of which are released to the environment under normal use and, therefore, are not subject to REACH regulation.
■Phenitec products do not contain PFOS.
■Phenitec products do not contain halogen and therefore are not subject to halogen-free regulation.
* Non-containment validity: RoHS10 substances (Cd, Hg, CR6+, PBB, PBDE, DEHP, BBP, DBP, DIBP) and halogen 4 substances (F, Cl, Br, I) are analyzed for each production line (product group) for verifying system effectiveness based on JAMP Guidelines of Chemical Substances Contained in Products.
